How do I set up my email accounts on my PC or phone?

Setting up email accounts using Cpanel isn't as daunting as you would imagine.  The following steps below should guide you through it.

1.  Log in to your Cpanel account, using www.yourdomain.com/cpanel  (Obviously replace YOURDOMAIN.com with your own domain)

2.  From your Cpanel home, select Email Accounts from the EMAIL section

3.  On the next page you will see any Email accounts that have been set up.  To the right of each is an option - Set Up Mail Client.  Select it.

4.  You will now see a list of Auto Configuration Scripts that should apply to almost every email client (Windows Live Mail, OSX Mail, Outlook etc.)

5.  Download the appropriate option by clicking on it.  I suggest the IMAP over SSL/TLS option.  Save it to your Desktop.

6.  From your Desktop, double click the downloaded file to open.  It should now start to auto install and ask you for your email password.  This is the password used for that email account.

That's it.  Your email will now be correctly set up.

Notes:

If you have problems, please try to ensure you haven't already got an identical existing email account installed already on your PC/Mac/Phone.  This is the most common reason for failure.

Manual Installation Details:

If you do not see an auto-configuration script for your client in the list, you can manually configure your mail client using the settings below:

Secure SSL/TLS Settings (Recommended)

Incoming Server: cloud.warrenchandler.co.uk
  • IMAP Port: 993

Outgoing Server: cloud.warrenchandler.co.uk
  • SMTP Port: 465
Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.

Non-SSL Settings
Username: youremail@yourdomain.com
Password: Use the email account’s password.
Incoming Server: * mail.yourdomain.com
  • IMAP Port: 143
  • POP3 Port: 110
Outgoing Server: * mail.yourdomain.com
  • SMTP Port: 26
Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.

* Obviously replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain.
